Payment Instructions and Links

  1. Dues Deadline: Please pay your dues to the “Training Institute of NPAP” by January 1st and no later than February 1st of the current year. Thank you for your timely payment!
  2. Dues Update: We’ve noticed that some members forget that we’ve always paid dues for two categories of membership. This policy remains unchanged, even as we transition to a single organization. In 2022, the categories “Members” and “Training Members” replaced the former “Association” and “Training Institute” categories.
  3. Online Payment: You may pay online by credit card. If choosing this option, please consider covering the 3% credit card fee: $10 for one membership category or $20 for both categories.

Members’ Dues for 2024

Dues for Members (under 80) are $345.

Training Members Dues

Training Members are required to pay an additional $345, totaling $690 for a single payment. These dues ensure the continued training of candidates in psychoanalysis at our Training Institute.

Benefits for Training Members

Your contribution is vital to maintaining the high standards of our psychoanalytic training programs. As a Training Member, you are eligible to:

  • Serve in any training capacities
  • Participate in a Training Group Committee
  • Join an Evaluation Committee
  • Act as an Enrollment Interviewer
  • Mentor Members-in-Training
  • Teach and supervise
  • Conduct training analysis
  • Vote for elective positions in the Training Institute
Pay Training Member's Dues
Senior Members or previously “exempted”

If you are a Senior Member (80 years old and over) or previously exempted, please select all the categories that apply to you:

  • Opt-in to pay dues for the benefit of NPAP**: $345
  • Opt-out of paying membership dues**: $0
  • Pay additional dues for serving as a Training Member** (no exemption) in roles such as faculty, supervisor, training analyst, and/or any Training Group role: $345 (totaling $690)
